We’ve added four new titles this month..and we’re getting closer to that target of 100 releases for year one. But the biggest addition is that of Sarah Whyberd, who now takes the day-to-day reins of The Penny Dreadful Company, while Neil J. develops the sales markets and ancillary products.
Sarah has a languages degree from Hull University...and this will help us move into new markets in Spanish speaking countries, France and Italy. She’s a lady who gets things done...and that will mean books going out on time (at last).
We’re in the final stages of negotiations for an independent book-seller to look after the distribution of our books in US and Canada. This will mean faster delivery to our buyers across the water and hopefully additional international sales. More news next month.
And finally, our thoughts and wishes go to Wendy and her boys, following the passing of her husband and a fine author, Barry J House. He will be greatly missed by us all. But his work will live on....
